Works starts today on the next stage of works at Rio Vista Park.
The works, which have been made possible thanks to $268,341 from the Victorian Government’s Community Crime Prevention Program, commenced in 2023.
The next major stage of the works will see the Rio Vista Park toilet block demolished and replaced with a new facility.
The toilet block will be closed from today (January 22), demolition will take place from next Monday (January 29) and construction of a new, safer and better positioned facility will commence next month.
Other project feature include CCTV cameras, new tree plantings, public lighting and new pathway lighting and linkages to the nearby Off Leash Dog Park.
Works are expected to be completed early this year.
