Mildura Rural City Council is pushing with its bid to become one of the country’s most Electric Vehicle friendly communities.
It’s installed a new public EV fast charging station at Pioneer Park in Murrayville.
The council says it’s a powerful way to attract more EV tourists to the region, saying that’ll allow people to spend more time in local towns.

The charger will support electric vehicles towing vans or trailers, with the parking stations being parallel.
The Murrayville facility is powered by 100 per cent renewable energy and cost to use it will be 58 cents per kilowatt hour.
