A field walk has been held at Merbein South.
Dried Fruits Australia has also used the first walk for 2024 to officially launch a new dried grape variety.
It says the Murray Bold has promising signs of being a high-yielding light variety with better tolerances to rain.

The grape, which also has signs of being an early ripening variety, has been growing at a Merbein property on a trial basis.
