Mildura Rural City Council has taken to social media to notify the community that while the Bureau of Meteorology tells us river levels are expected to rise in our region, the Murray River in the Mildura area acts very differently to the smaller systems upstream.
As a result, at this stage the Mildura area is NOT expecting any local rises in river levels to have impacts such as those recently seen elsewhere in Victoria.
