A Woorinen South fruit grower is due before the Swan Hill Magistrates Court following a worksite death in early 2022.
The case is being brought by WorkSafe Victoria against Cutri Fruit Pty Ltd and labour hire company AH Vision.
A 70-year-old Afghan national died after suffering head injuries when falling from a trailer at a farm in January 2022.
Cutri Fruit is facing five charges under section 23(1) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act for failing to ensure, as far as reasonably practicable, persons other than employees were not exposed to health and safety risks, and AH Vision is facing two charges.
The matter will be heard at Swan Hill Magistrates Court on January 24.
