Mildura Rural City Council is planning for the 2024 tree planting season.
They have put out a question on social media, asking could your neighbourhood use a bit of greenery?
Their simple answer to this question – request a tree.
The local council says street trees, garden beds and landscaping are essential for local public spaces as they provide aesthetic, environmental and practical benefits.
Council teams maintain plantings in median strips, roundabouts and tree bays, and in public parks, reserves and playgrounds.
