Calls to trim roadside vegetation

Local MP Jade Benham has raised the issue of roadside vegetation in Victoria’s Parliament.

The Member for Mildura says locals have contacted her regarding tree limbs hanging over major roads and intersections across the Mildura electorate.

She says they’re worried harvest trucks and machinery can’t see around bends for oncoming traffic.

The local MP has called on VicRoads to take urgent action to avoid major accidents.
