Expressions of Interest are now open for young people aged between 16 and 25 years to join the 2024 YMCA Youth Parliament Mildura Team.
Mildura Rural City Council is saying that this is a chance to make a change at the highest levels of the Victorian State Government on a wide range of issues relevant to young people’s lives.
A team of six participants will be selected, they will receive training in public speaking and leadership, attend residential camps and research issues they are passionate about.
From this research, participants will develop a Bill, that they will debate in the Victorian Parliament over three days in July 2024.
The program is FREE and fully funded.
Applications open until Monday 22 January 2024.
