Funding available for local groups

Community and sporting groups are being encouraged to apply for Mildura Rural City Council funding.

Applications have opened for the city’s Quick Response Community Grants round, with up to two-thousand dollars available.

The city says the money can be used for initiatives such as community workshops, promoting community projects and emergency responses.

Grants are available to not-for-profit and charitable groups, organisations, artists and arts-related businesses.

Eligible applications will be assessed within 14 days.

Applications close on 31 December.
