MBPH is seeing a rise in COVID-19 cases within the local area, and high rates of community transmission are evident.
In response to the risk posed to all staff, patients and visitors, the following actions are required effective immediately:
Patients
Patients are encouraged to be in surgical masks where appropriate and practical and surgical masks are required in MBPH outpatient clinics.
Visitors/Support Persons/Carers
All visitors must enter through the main entrance. Other entrances are restricted to staff entry only.
RAT testing upon entry for inpatient visitors, please allow time for this testing to occur when you arrive.

Visitors attending rooms in clinical high-risk areas must wear an N-95 mask and follow the instructions from nursing staff in relation to full PPE requirements.
