The new Olympic Park speedway season will commence this Saturday night with the Robinson Plumbing Mildura Sidecar Spectacular, which will be held for the 46th consecutive year.
The event has been re-scheduled from the early part of the 2023 summer season.
A strong field of teams has been gathered together to contest the Keith “Curly” Carmes Trophy, which will be awarded to the winner of the traditional “Final” by a member of the Carmes family, as is tradition.
Improvements to the Olympic Park surrounds will be evident to regular patrons, with much new work having been completed.
Olympic Park gates will open at 5:00pm, practice at 6:15 and then the Dash for Cash at 7:15.
A small junior program will precede the senior meeting.
