It’s been revealed the Birchip Community Emergency Response Team’s vehicle is being housed behind the local bakery because there’s no secure home for it.
Mildura MP Jade Benham says the local CFA shed can’t fit the truck.
She’s calling on the government to update her electorate on upgrades for emergency services, and that the town of Birchip is just one example where local volunteers are struggling.
