Works are underway to install a new grandstand at the Mildura Sporting Precinct.
It’s expected to take around three weeks to complete.
Mildura Rural City Council says the five-hundred seat retractable structure will bring improved and flexible indoor seating and should be ready for the WNBL match, Bendigio Spirit taking on Sydney Flames on November 10.

Council says MSP staff have worked closely with user groups to manage programming over the installation period.
It is anticipated that there will be no significant impact on casual use or planned bookings.
