The committee at Timmis Speedway have taken to social media to announce that that start of the 2023/24 racing season will have to be postponed.
Works at the venue have been happening at a rapid rate, but due to this week’s rain (in excess of 35mm) the work is now expected to be 1 week behind.
The meeting scheduled for November 4th, The Col Beasley Classic, has been rescheduled to December 9th.

The opening meeting will now be the Ross Crick Memorial on November 18 with one maybe two scheduled practices to happen in the lead up to the opening meeting.
There is also a working bee scheduled next Saturday & Sunday (October 14 & 15).
