Mildura Councillors will be at Nichols Point later this month for a barbecue and community conversations event.
The city says it’s a chance to hear from locals on issues and topics that matter to them on October 25.
The event starts at 5:00pm at the Nichols Point Recreation Reserve with a FREE community BBQ followed by conversations with Councillors before natural disaster preparedness and recovery specialist David Younger speaks at around 6.45pm.

Meantime, a community dinner is being organised for Nangiloc, Colignan and surrounding residents on October 26, with the council saying it’s a chance to thank those in the community after last summer’s floods.
This is also an opportunity for people to share their experience and hear from David Younger.
The evening will commence with a free meal from the Nangiloc Tavern before David will talk around 6.45pm.
