One off passenger train return

The passenger train Vinelander will return to Mildura next year.

It’s part of a six-day Slow Rail Journey.

It’s the first standard gauge passenger train to Mildura, and will be the first Vinelander to return since 1993.

Locals may even have the chance to get onto the train for a trip to either Yelta or Carwarp.

It’s happening in June next year.

Locals are still fighting for a return to regular passenger train services for Mildura.
