We’re being warned to start getting fire-ready NOW with the Bureau of Meteorology warning of a warm and dry spring ahead.
The winter just gone is expected to be one of the warmest on record, and the Mallee is already been identified as being potentially high risk over the fire season.
The CFA’s Brendan Lawson says now’s the time to make sure people are prepared for the fire danger period.
