Mildura Racing Club is set to come back better than ever this Melbourne Cup Day.
Racing officials at the local track say repairs from last summer’s flood are well advanced, after cancellations throughout last year’s racing season.
Event organisers are reportedly hoping to see up to two-and-a-half thousand people through the gates for the event in November.

They did race Melbourne Cup Day last year, but they were coming back after a couple of years of COVID.
There will be plenty of free children’s activities, live music, and big screens to watch all of the racing action from Melbourne.
