Applications are open for the 2026 National Youth Parliament with a local Council encouraging the region’s residents to put their hand up
The Wentworth Shire Council has posted to social media to highlight the program, designed to develop leadership, policy, and civic engagement skills
One person will be selected from every Federal electorate across the country, with applications open for people who will be aged 16 or 17 at the time of the event

It’s a free program with all flights, transport, accommodation, food and activities to be fully covered.
Applications close November 21st.
