Locals with the means and right motivations are being encouraged to become foster carers this Youth Homelessness Matters Day.
Recent figures show dozens of young people in Mildura don’t have a regular place to sleep, either sleeping rough or using supported accommodation.
Mallee Accommodation and Support Program says it’s currently delivering new social housing properties for young people leaving care.
