Mildura Rural City Council Mayor Cr Liam Wood says his immediate priority in his new term is helping the community through the current flood situation.
Councillor Wood has been re-elected unopposed during a special meeting overnight.
Helen Healy is his new deputy, replacing Jason Modica.

Cr Healy was also elected unopposed.
Cr Wood says he’s also looking forward to seeing various major projects in the region over the coming 12-months.
