One-hundred and forty-native plants and shrubs have been planted at the Wentworth Ski Reserve.
Students from Wentworth and Pomona public schools were involved in the activity last Friday as part of National Tree Day.
The species included native grasses, ground covers and bushes, with organizers saying it was a chance for students to learn about connecting with the environment.
