Wentworth Shire Council is holding a citizenship ceremony at the Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club auditorium tomorrow night from 6:30pm.
Three locals will officially become Australians during the ceremony, which will also include the local Australia Day awards.
The Australia Day 2023 ambassador for the Wentworth Shire Council is Dr Clio Cresswell, faculty member of the School of Mathematics and Statistics at The University of Sydney.

However there will be other events across the shire for Australia Day on Thursday including a breakfast in the Australian Inland Botanic Gardens on Thursday from 8:00am.
