On Friday night, a 32-year-old Male was detected in the Mildura area travelling at 82km/h in a 60km/h zone.
The male was intercepted and issued a $370 fine. He also lost 3 demerit points.
On Saturday morning, police were notified of a vehicle driving on 2 blown tyres in the Mildura CBD area.
Police soon located the vehicle and conducted a roadside Preliminary Breath Test on a 73-year-old Male, who returned a positive read.
The male was transported to the Mildura Police Station where a further Evidentiary Breath Test was conducted, returning a read of 0.154.
The male immediately lost his licence for 12 months.
His vehicle was impounded at a cost to him of $1605 and he will be summonsed to attend court at a later date.
