AUSTRALIAN Superbike Champion Josh Waters is set to be the keynote speaker at this week’s Roadcraft Motorcycle Safety Seminar.
This free interactive workshop is on at the Sunraysia Mallee Ethnic Communities Council on Twelfth Street in Mildura.
Waters said that he was more then happy to share his experiences with other motorbike riders in the Community
“The group reached out and asked if I could share what I do on the race track and, more importantly, out on the road, to keep safe,” he said.
“In my presentation I will focus on the essentials, such as the importance of riders’ always being aware of their surroundings to ensure they are as safe as possible.”
He said that he would also be showing a high-tech airbag suit that he wears when racing to show attendees.
“I am very lucky when racing that I get to access the very best gear,” Waters said. “My airbag suit is custom-made and it will be great to show everyone what we get to use.”
