Locals may see a slight discolouration in their water over coming weeks due to the floods along the Murray River.
Authorities are assuring residents urban water remains safe to drink and is tested to comply with Australian standards.
It comes as a flood advice warning remains in place along the river..

The Murray’s expected to pass the minor flood level in Swan Hill today, and at Mildura weir next month..
It may reach 37.5 at Mildura by the end of November.
