Several watch and act alerts are in place across the Murray River system.
Locals on the river side of Cootamundra Avenue and lower reaches of Edey Road near the river at Karadoc are being advised it’s not safe to return with houses inundated or isiolated by floodwaters.
And residents at Rocks Road in Balranald are being advised to prepare to isolate.

The NSW SES says the Murrumbidgee River at Balranald Weir may peak near 7.4 meters from this weekend with major flooding.
