Thousands of residential gardeners across the Murray Valley have taken up the offer to have fruit trees removed from their yards over the past seven years.
The Victorian Government funded program has wrapped up, with more than ten-thousand trees removed in the fight against Queensland Fruit Fly.
More than 72 per cent of those were in the Mildura region, with 19 per cent in Swan Hill.

Trees removed including stone fruit and citrus.
Fruit Fly Murray Valley says people should now only have trees on their property they’re happy to manage.
