Mallee MP ANNE WEBSTER says a parliamentary inquiry into Telstra’s network outage has raised questions on how known risks were managed inside the Telco.
The Shadow Regional Communications Minister says locals and the wider community are entitled to ask why reforms have moved so slowly within the telecommunications infrastructure.
She says the opposition is still calling for mandatory reliability, performance and maintenance standards for mobile networks backed by meaningful penalties.
