The Family Advocacy and Support Services Program is being expanded into Mildura.
It’ll be in the city from next week, providing improved access to family violence supports.
The program is aimed at helping families resolve matters in the court safely and more quickly while also providing links to holistic supports such as accommodation and financial counselling services.

It’s an integrated service that provides legal and non-legal support, and is being broadened to include mental health support.
Mallee Sexual Assault Unit and Domestic Violence Service has been selected as a new partner to deliver the program until June 2025.
