A forum is being held this Saturday evening, looking at how sport can be a game change for gender equality.
Mildura Rural City Council is holding the free event at the Mildura Sporting Precinct, saying it’ll provide local sporting clubs with ways to create inclusive environments for women and girls.
The event, How Sport Can be the Game-Change for Gender Equality will include panel members: hockey coach and sports administrator Sue O’Brien, former Richmond AFLW player Courtney Wakefield and men’s netball player and coach Dallas Kirby.
It starts at 5pm.
The WNBL Bendigo Spirit Vs Adelaide Lightning game is at the venue from 6:30pm on Saturday.
