Organisers of the Phil Crump Classic at Olympic Park say they’re getting together a talented field for the competition.

Three-time World Champ Tai Woffinden will be riding for the first time as a senior, having been at the park when he was competing in the Australian Junior Championships.

Organisers are asking patrons to be patient this weekend as many of the regular parking spaces have been compromised by the recent floods.

Tickets are available at the gate and patrons are reminded that there is plenty of Free Grandstand accommodation or take a rug or a chair and use the grassy banks which surround the Stadium.

Other attraction this Saturday night include Rider Introductions, National Anthem and Parade, and the “Dash for Cash” which will feature the sixteen Crump riders.

Food and drinks available, no BYO by law.

Racing starts at 7.30.
