Walpeup woman Rebecca Payne has faced the Supreme Court for a plea hearing over the death of her husband.
The 43-year-old was found guilty earlier this year of the 2020 murder of her husband Noel, but she claimed she didn’t mean to kill him when she gave him a drug-laced biscuit.
The court was told yesterday Noel was violent and controlling, but the prosecution told the court she could have left.

She will be sentenced at a later date.
