A British satellite is operating again after an outage over the weekend.
The I-4 F-1 satellite outage disrupted precision farming services for producers, including those in the Mallee, who use the technology for sowing crops, spraying and fertilising.
Local farmers say they had to use other methods to continue their work, but say it did have the potential to lose them money and time.

The National Farmers Federation says many farmers are now worried it’ll happen again, and work needs to be done to address data security issues moving forward.
