SA Police probe theft from flood preparation vehicles

Police in South Australia’s Riverland are looking into reports equipment has been stolen from vehicles that are being used to help locals prepare for rising flood waters.

Batteries and fuel cans were reportedly stolen from vehicles parked behind the Renmark Hospital sometime between 4.30pm on Sunday 6 November and 5.30am yesterday.

They’re asking anyone who sees any suspicious activity around construction vehicles and sites to call the police assistance line on 13 14 44, or if anyone has details about who is responsible for the thefts contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
