Rural health research is falling well behind metro areas according to La Trobe University.
Professor JANE MILLS from the uni co-authored an opinion piece, saying the discrepency is concerning as rural residents already have poorer health than their urban counterparts.
La Trobe has a campus in Mildura.. and has partned with Sunraysia Community Heath to transform community health outcomes in various projects.
