South Australian Police have detected four men and a woman committing traffic offences in the Murray Mallee region over the weekend, including 3 in Loxton.
A 23-year-old man from Loxton was stopped driving a Ford Sedan on Dorsch Avenue Loxton about 2:00am on Saturday 17 January.
He was breath tested and allegedly returned a positive result to cocaine and methamphetamine.
He was issued with a driver direction notice and licence disqualification for 3 months and may face drug driving charges following results of a forensic analysis.
A 27-year-old woman from Loxton was stopped driving a Holden Sedan on Bookpurnong Terrace Loxton about 10.30am on Sunday 18 January.
She was submitted to a drug test and allegedly returned a positive result to cannabis.
She was issued a driver direction notice and a licence disqualification for 3 months.
Just after 1:00pm on Sunday, police stopped a Holden Ute on Badcoe Road, Loxton and drug tested the driver.
A 27-year-old Riverland man allegedly returned a positive to cannabis and was subsequently issued with a driver direction notice and licence disqualification for 3 months.
