If you regularly drive along some of our region’s riverfront tracks and unsealed roads, please be aware there are several closures due to current Murray River levels.
Mildura Rural City Council has announced the following closures:
• Chaffey Track between Cureton and Flora Avenues, Mildura
• Ranfurly Bend (houseboat mooring area), Mildura
• Merbein Boat Ramp Track on Ranfurly Way, Merbein
• Edey Road, Karadoc
• Kulkyne Way, between Brown Road and Brown Road, Colignan. At the Southern end of Kulkyne Way
• Barko Road between Blake Road and Bullock Swam Road, Nangiloc
Due to their close proximity to the river, these tracks and roads can become inundated from time to time as river levels fluctuate.
The river height at these locations remains well below minor flood level according to the Murray Darling Basin Authority.
