Rex flights to Adelaide now suspended

The Rex flight between Mildura and Adelaide is now suspended.

Nine other Rex routes around the country will be reduced or have a change in timings.

The flights were suspended yesterday, with the airline blaming a lack of engine parts for its Saab 340 Turboprop planes and staff shortages.

Mildura Regional Development is still hoping the suspension will only be temporary.

The local tourism group believes the suspension of Rex Flights between Mildura and Adelaide will have a small impact on tourism in the region.

There’s no word yet on when the Mildura Adelaide route will return.
