A rescue air base has been moved to Wentworth to help those isolated by floods across the Murray Darling Basin.
There are two choppers at the local aerodrome as well as crews to pilot the aircraft.
New South Wales authorities say they’ve moved the equipment to where it’s needed.

While the waters are receding along the Murray, evacuation warnings are still in place for some areas of Menindee.
Authorities say crews have already been delivering supplies to residents in the NSW town who have been isolated by floodwaters.
