A new rental affordability index’s painted a bleak picture of housing in regional areas, with Irymple prices considered moderately unaffordable.
However rentals in the 3500 postcode which takes in Mildura are considered acceptable.
The newly-released figures from SGS Economics and peak housing body National Shelter show affordability has dropped by up to 14 % in some parts of the Country.
