After eight months of delays due to floods, improvement works have re-commenced on Pooncarie Road.
Wentworth Shire Council says the works will include 26-kilometres of new sealing, allowing locals and visitors to access the road in all weather.
The shire says it’ll also remove a six-hundred kilometre road detour when it’s closed due to wet weather.

The works are due to be finished later this year.
