A man has been arrested over a carjacking and crash.
Police have been told the man got into the passenger seat of a Mazda on Hawthorn Grove around 7.30 last night with the female driver running off.
The alleged carjacker then drove the vehicle off and the vehicle crashed into the side of a home on Mimosa Avenue with the man attempting to flee a short time later.

He was found a short time later and arrested.
Officers used OC spray during the arrest of the 27-year-old.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incidents are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.
