More than one million dollars has been announced for community sports projects within the Wentworth Shire.
Upper house MP Sam Farraway says the projects including resurfacing the netball courts and upgrading female change rooms at the George Gordon Sporting Complex
Half a million dollars has also been announced for the Carramar Drive complex to resurface cricket pitches and build indoor nets.
