A new taskforce aimed at fighting serious and organised crime has had an average of one arrest each day and seized over sixty guns in its first 12-months.
The VIPER taskforce was in Mildura in January, targeting members of associates of the Rebels bikie gang, where eleven offenders were processed for a range of offences.
Police say regional police are regularly supported by the VIPER taskforce to disrupt criminal activity.
