Mildura councillor Jason Modica says more sport could be introduced as works near completion for the second stage of the Mildura Sporting Precinct.
He says the use since the facility has been opened keeps increasing.
Meanwhile organisers have called the Volleyball Victoria Country Championships in Mildura a success.

The event was held over the long weekend at the Mildura Sporting Precinct, with hundreds of competitors taking party.
There was concern though over the lack of seating for spectators.
