Local police are drawing people’s attention to National Road Safety Week this morning, with 116 lives lost on Victorian roads this year.
Every year almost 12-hundred people are killed, and a further 40 thousand people injured on Australian roads.
Traffic injury is the biggest killer of Australian children under 15 and the second-biggest killer of all Australians aged between 15 and 24.

Wentworth Shire Council and Mildura Police are reminding locals to stay safe on the roads.
