The Murray Darling Basin Plan amendment bill is being described as divisive and destructive by a local MP.
Victorian member for Mildura JADE BENHAM says the bill, which looks to re-introduce water buybacks.. threatens to increase the price of groceries and destroy Regional Communities.
The bill passed the lower house in federal parliament this week, and will head to the Senate.
