Mildura councillors will vote this week on whether to remain publicly neutral on the Voice to Parliament referendum.
A date is yet to be set for the referendum, but will be held in coming months for Australians to decide whether to change the constitution to include an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.
A Mildura Rural City Council committee has recommended the city remain neutral but recognise there are a range of views in the community.

The committee started consultation earlier this year, and a statement of advice was endorsed earlier this month.
