Mildura is open for tourism and business.
That’s the message from tourism businesses, urging visitors to head to Mildura and North-West Victoria despite the Murray River flood situation.
The River is currently expected to reach a peak at Mildura around the 21st to 22nd of this month, and Wentworth Christmas Day or Boxing Day.

While some low-lying caravan parks have been impacted there are other parks and accommodation options open including motels.
The SES though is urging people to avoid flood-affected areas.
